Default Big cube/stroker forum?

I would like to see a big cube/stroker forum, the big cube motors are a lot different than your basic LSX engine. A cam thats considered big for a 346 could be small for a 427, the same goes with heads, intake, ect. ect....
I have to do searches a lot to find others with big cube motors for info on cam sellection ect.

Am I the only one who would like to see a Big cube/stroker forum?

Would be cool. I'm looking to do a Warhawk setup once things are all figured out. Most definately next fall/winter.

I think it would be a great idea. There are issues with strokers, etc. that are specific.

Wink

If you create this how about adding in the following stickies for people that want to build strokers and convert older vehicles (gm or non) to a LSx based stroker.

Complete part listing for L92 stroker build up. I mean complete all the way down to the ARP part numbers used to assemble the motor and the threads used to block off of the oil feed lines in the valley.

Complete part listing for LS2/LQ9 stroker build up. (I'm suprised ARP doesn't have a assembly kit out for this type of buildup yet, I couldn't find a kit on there web site sunday evening).

Complete part listing for Gen I F-body LSx conversion (listing multiple vendor parts for variety). Wiring harness, new k member, or where to cut the old one if needed... who makes mounts to use the stock k member (if they are available)... bla bla bla.

Complete part listing for G body LSx conversion (listing multiple vendor parts for variety).

etc.... for the different vehicle types.

Yeah the conversion stickies would be a little harder to do, but think how much it would help people that are DYI on the conversions. This way they would know ahead of time how much work they have ahead of them and what they are going to need to do to prep the vehicles before they start dropping the motor in.

People that have done the DYI engine swaps would be a good source for that information.

Plus helping people out is a good thing.

Oh and shouldn't this have been placed in the general forum???

That's pretty much what this section is now. I almost never go in the LS1/6 section anymore.

Guys, we have 5 years worth of stroker information in the LS1/6 Internal forum. We realize there are millions of cam threads, but the stroker stuff is already in there too.

We may split this LS2/7 forum up into Internal and External, once it gets very busy.

I second the motion. A forum for non-stock, over-size cubic inch, LS2, LS7, L92.
