Default LS 7 Crank sensor type

Hi,

I am helping a friend with his -79 Camaro. He is looking for LS7 crate engine.

I tried searching the type of Crank Sensor in LS7 engine. Does anyone know whether it is a VR or Hall effect type sensor?

Thanks
hrk
