I smell a strongly worded letter coming his way...
Or at the very least, a strong bitch slap...

His posts sound like Mike's, he knows everything about racing, and everybody else knows less than him.
Mike talks so much ****, yet he doesn't own or drive the engines he brags about, and his own car has been down for years now.

I think someone is about the feel the brunt of what I am capable of...
And what are you capable of???
Listen, I am not here to defend WOTFman, but the way you worded that just strikes me as wrong.
Brian, you and I have had discussions in the past about a couple of things on here. You may or may not remember them. I do see a lot of the logic in some of the things you say. But here is my sticking point.
What he was trying to say to Jeremy is that there is more than one trick in town. A person has more options than what the sponsors offer. Brian, the way you come across is that if you are not running trick flows then you ain't running ****. I am sorry but that is not the case. There are guys out there hand porting the darts and even stock GM castings that will beat the **** out of the TFS heads. I am not saying there is anything wrong with the TFS heads. AS a matter of fact, as far as an off the shelf head that someone can buy, they are among the best.
I know the next thing that will be brought up is the 600 rwhp 440 that Vengeance did and the multiple 500 rwhp 346's. All of them great accomplishments, however that was done long ago by Cartek. So in reality, it is nothing new. It was done on factory ls6 castings.
Why are these heads not mentioned more?? They are not cheap, to pay a quality porter is expensive. 80 hours of porting in a set of heads is not that uncommon, and you can guess how much that would be.
As great of a resource as LS1tech is, it is not the be all and end all of the LS world. There are other people out there doing **** that would blow our minds. Just because they do not advertise on here, does not mean that they do not exist.
We have other options people, besides what the flavor of the day is.You just have to look for them.

Sorry if I came across like the TFS were the end all, because nothing is. However, I will say that on a hyd roller cam, street car with a head running stainless valves, the TFS heads are very hard to beat, and no one can port a head on that application that will "beat the **** out of the TFS heads" it's just not going to happen. You might find someone that can port a head on that application to make the same power, but "beat the **** out of" them, never. Everyone talks about these types of heads existing, but in reality they don't. If you are talking about a 8000 RPM drag race engine, then you might find a hogged out hand ported head to outpower the TFS heads, but that is not what the TFS heads are designed for.
