SDPC 416 in and ready to go
We finally got the SDPC L92 416 short block/engine complete and in my car. The only thing holding us up is the aluminum radiator I ordered from a supplier on eBay. It has been a month today and still have not received it. I am getting ticked! I may just stick the SLP/LT1 rad back in to get it up and running.
I will post some pics when I get it all done!

Fired Her up!
Daggum thermostat is stuck! Replaced everythig but the stat, because it was not that old. Got up to 210 and shut it down. I have had the problem before and usually I would tap on the thermostat housing and it would open up. Not this time. Waitng on it to cool down so I can change it out. Problem is, no one locally has one?
I will post back when I get it fixed.

Sounds good! Got the thermostat in and ran it for 40 minutes yesterday. Need to run it for 40 more minutes or so for the initial break-in. The Tune is out of wac, but it has that nice rumpidy rump idle.
I am going to take it on a little trip around town this weekend, after I play with the tune some.

I still need to drive the car for a few thousand miles before I switch to Amsoil. We are planning on driving back from the shop when he gets a base tune on it. Then we will have to go back later for the injector change.
Took a video/audio clip while we were running it and I am going to post a link to it soon. Sounds great!
The saga continues!
