Default LS7 heads, what are your rocker choices,

Just wondering if you have LS7 heads, what are your rockers choices???

- 1.8 LS7 factory rockers... (can these be used with XE-R type cams?)

- 1.7 LS1 factory rockers???

-what else???

either jesels ( you need to machine the heads to make them fit),
or stock ls7's, you can use xer lobes, but it puts the lift (depending on the duration) anywhere from .615ish, 640 ish lift (dont know exactly that is off the top of my head) and patriot extreme of something like it could control no problem, provided you run the stock ti valves

Ryne covered it all. Katech has some beehive springs/ti retainers that are good to .700" lift, which I have on my heads and are really something else (the retainers are so light they blow away if you have a fan blowing on them haha). I'm running .650/.668 for lift on my cam, and its working well. I also had the harland sharp mod done to my rockers because they have been known to spill their bearings.
Jesels are also an option, but like Ryne said, you have to machine the rocker provisions on the heads flat.

Best Regards,

Can you actually buy Jesel or Crower rockers for the LS7? I haven't seen them sold anywhere.

You mean Jesel's on your ET headed LS7.

This isn't Jesel for LS7 heads
