for chasing the threads on my new L92 block, for putting on my heads?

I've heard of people using a stock head bolt with some slots ground into the threads length wise along the length of the bolt. It essentially does the same thing. I haven't personally tried that method, but it would be cheap and easy to test it. ?

maybe, but i don't want to cut any corners or do the cheap way. I want to do it right since I have and am going to put a lot of money into this.
