what`s the use of it? already there is a L92 4.060 bore and the ls7 with a 4.125 Bore that is enough in my opinion for my uses that is if I`m going aluminum .... maybe you want a 4.200 and above bore with a raised deck that can have a 4.500 stroke?

what`s on your mind? what`s the specs on your mind since the bore of an aluminum block has limited increasing ability?

Who makes a 4.500" stroke crank? Anyone built a 511ci engine from the LSx yet?

I don't think the tall deck version of the block is available yet.

Crank would more than likely be a custom piece at first, then as more blocks become available, someone will make a shelf piece.

The largest crank I've seen is the eagle 4.200.

I've seen a 4.250 stroke crank, I don't know who made it though, Lunati maybe. I guess you would have to go custom at this point or try to offset grind a crank.

That sounds like it's going to be quite the torque monster!

Here is the list in order of priority as I know it. It could change so don't yell at me if it changes

Tall Deck Iron Block by the end of the year.

LSX 6 Bolt heads

Aluminum Version of the current LSX Iron Block.

No I don't know if there are any plans for a tall deck Aluminum.

That's good to know that it's at least planned on being built.

This just seems strange that they would offer the LSx in Aluminum, when the LS7 block "could" easily be near the strength of the Warhawk or anything they make if it had better sleeves. It already has billet mains and large bore, the only down fall is the sleeves, but hey I don't think I will ever understand the general. I'm not going to complain with another option though, especially if it is less than the Warhawk.

there are other nice things the lsx offers, 4.250 bore with .100 thickness still, priority main oiling, etc
