Default LS7 Valve springs on L92 heads?

I have put a stock set of 2007 LS7 valve springs on my L92 heads and the valve stem is recessed into the spring retainer. Is this normal for these springs or is my valve stem just to short for these springs? Will it still work like that with stock 1.7:1 rockers? here is a pix:

The spring on the right is the LS7 spring. The spring on the left is the stock L92 one. I know the installed height of the LS7 spring is 1.95 and the L92 is 1.8 which is in spec. Any ideas?

Default

Get some aftermarket springs designed for a 1.800 installed height.
Since the LS7 springs are designed for longer valves, you will find
that trying to install them at 1.800 leaves little room for valve lift.
Depending on you cam, you may experience coil bind with this setup.
You can see how close the coils are to each other just looking at it.
