sponsor built long blocks
has anyone here purchased a short or long block from a sponsor and had a serious mechanical issue either at start up or right in the breakin period? if so how did the sponsor handle the situation? im looking to have built either a 364 or 402 and an having trouble on which sponsor to go with. i emailed a few and some responded but seem to keep falling out of contact. my work is screwy and i swing shift sometimes daily. im looking for a reliable and value orientated motor that can handle a procharger d1sc. im not looking to squeeze out the last tenth nor im i looking to top the dyno charts, just what my fuel system can handle (walbro intank, boost a pump and 60 lbs injectors) for good old fun street rod.
not trying to start a flame war, im sure they all can do a good job but to me its the service, especially if something went wrong with the build or a part failure at or near start up.
use pms please if you cant be tactful
thanks
