Need Help.. Valvetrain Noise on NEW 402ci.
Hey guys just finished my 402 build up a few weeks ago. It is Not yeat tuned. so it runs like crap right now. I took it for a spin a few times just to make sure I had no leaks and that everything was checking out alright. I noticed when I was cruisin up a hill in 6th gear 1800 rpm's I noticed a sound like valve ticking. (The noise is like when u have bad gas). Then I heard it the next day when I was turnin roughly 3,000 rpm's It only does it at a higher rpm or when I am going up a hill in low rpm's Is this something to worry about or could it be just needing a tune cause I know it's prob. out of time and my fuel curves are way off. Any Help be appreciated
Thanks

blunt advice
No, no no!!!......here is some real advice.
Don't f*** around with this. Get a diagnostic tool on it before you are sorry. Check for knock retard...Detonation will kill your motor. Do you want that?
Get it tuned properly. AFR is a fine line between being too rich and washing the rings out.... and knock.
Also you had better break it in properly, (Do a search) don't just "Take it for a spin" or you will end up like me. Rings didn't seal, blowing oil smoke. Also a rich tune contributed to my woes...
Do you want that after all your f'n hard work and money?
DON't drive it until you do this, PLEASE.
Sorry so blunt but you needed some real advice.
