Damn clean car brad, did you fill the holes in with steel sheet metal or body filler? Looks sweeet.

Looks kinda old school at first with the intake and carb. Expecially with those SBC looking valve covers. Where did you get those at btw?

thanks guys, i did all the under hood work myself and with a friend.
i welded all of the holes and grided them down, then smoothed them with body filler, the sides i cut metal alum, and fit it in, i rivited them in place and smothed it out. then we sanded, primed and painted everything.
the coils and computer are inside under the dash. its not"carb" its still fuel injected, but does look old school. the covers are GMPP covers and cleared my harlan sharp rockers.

heres some pics from the under hood work.

Brad,
Underhood work looks great, so you welded in panels, what did you use for body filler?

So that thing on top of the intake manifold that looks like a carburetor is really a throttlebody injection? I thought I spotted a fuel rail running on top of the intake so it doesn't make sense that it would be a carburetor. Did you custom made your spark plug wires?

it is a t-body on top, with fuel rails. the top only takes in the air. the fuel comes from the rails/injectors.

yes, i made them up to fit the coils under the dash

You can use Taylor or any brand LT1 wires and cut them to fit..the valve covers can be ordered from GM Perforance Parts ... if memory serves me I paid $104 a piece for them and made the coil relocation kit from hardware at the local home depot..I like the old school look with your TB mounted on the intake ... is that a Victor JR or is that a GMPP intake? .. It looks great! You have a nice clean set up ..
