Default L92 vs LS3

ok, there might be a thread on this, but we all know the search engine sucks....

I'm building up a stroked L92. Using L92 heads, L76 intake....

Am I really builiding a stroked LS3?

Yes and no, Once you change the rotating assembly, cam, valves and springs it might as well be a LS3 that you used.
Some L92's didn't come with DOD. Those that did would require some changes in the lifters and lifter retaining trays as well as the valley cover.

I think ( I am not sure) that all L92 and LS3 have the cam phaser. If that is true you will need a LS2 Cam Sproket and LS2 Front timing cover also.
Don't forget the L92 uses the truck style waterpump and pulleys. All that would have to go if installed in a car.
