No oil problems? How often do you spray?

Did he build / assemble the engine or just tell you how to do it?

Or maybe the better question is what do you have to do special to run this setup....? I found your thread:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...18#post3988820

Looks like you got custom pistons from Ross Pistons for $800 that were clearanced for the reluctor wheel and used the stock 4.1 Eagle crank and 6.125 rods. Were there any other "special" things that had be done....ie at assembly? Who bored your block for you?

He told me what to look for in clearancing , like rod bolts to block clearance and rod bolts to windage tray and so on. ,and yes i build my own engines. I worked with Ross to design me a set of pistons for the 4.100" stroke crank to clear the piston to counter weights and piston to deck height ,there is a lot of clearance problem with the 4.100" stroke and higher. You can see some of the engine build in my sig. My next motor build is going to be a 433cid.

Any information on the pistons would be appreciated. I am going in that direction but with a lower compression ratio. PMd you.
