Please help...LS2 Double Roller Timing Chains
Hope you guys can help. I'm going to be installing a cam, springs, pushrods in my ls2 gto over the winter.
I also want to swap out the single roller for a double roller.
Comp Cams has two different part numbers for adjustable double roller ls2 timing chains. I called there and they couldn't tell me what the difference is.
In looking at this forum and ls1gto forum, it appears that the ls1 and ls2 timing chains may be different? Because of the cam position sensor?
Does anyone know?
I ordered the Comp Cams 7153 and it came saying LS1 Billett double roller set 9 keyway. Does this also mean that it will fit a ls2? Or is the ls2 timing chains different because of the cam position sensor?
Please help.
Brian

newer ls2 use the front position cam sensor I just dont know what year they changed over, and I would research the fitment of the double roller set-up,I was told that they have clearance issues and was steered away from one.I went with the n-motion billit single row for safe sake.
