If you are putting this cam/ heads on your LS2, check piston to valve clearance.
Pushrods, you will have to check length. Lifters; Morel are best but $$, GM makes a high performance lifter that I am going to try. HP Hydraulic Rollers (88958689) ($217.85) ($219.86) (GM)

I'd say about 470 RWHP & 450 RWTQ with a good tune.

Just found this thread to look at. https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/797217-new-mti-v1-cam-afr-heads-results.html

Extra long heavy valves combined with extra high intake lift may yield unstable valve train after 6000 RPM and hurt power.

Buy the proper valve springs and you wont have problems.

Hi corvette_uae1,

You can see around some inappropriate valve train creating some issue with "valve float" above 6000rpm...
Just take a special attention to the components (correct Springs/adjusted Push Rods length/corresponding Lifters/Titanium Valve Spring Retainers) and take care to the Rockers geometry with your engine builder/provider.

I personally rev my hydraulic combo to 7450rpm with a complete valve train stability...on a daily bases...

Oh, so what, you think you're better than everybody now? Huh? You think, just because you got one of these fancy 6-speed autos, that give you a right to look down on everybody? Huh?

Kidding!!!

Just that these new Vettes are so bad ***. Can't wait to see what numbers you put out and where the curve goes. I'm in the market for a new Camaro, and I think I'm going to break my adiction to the stick-and-kick with an A6.

Brian,

Our valves are only two grams heavier than the valves on the TFS heads. You guys must have some real problems too. I have not had any issues since we switched to the patriot spring about a year ago.

Hi corvette_uae1,

This is obviously one choice that stand on the top in my chart.......

Just ask Ed to cook you a camshaft for your need and call it a perfect deal.

UAE1, if you have the V2 you do not have .640+ lift on the intake more like
.59x. It is the V3 that uses the LSK .640+ intake lobe. the V2 still uses an XER lobe.

guyz im not happy with my cam its really more rougher than i thought !!!

really too rough for me even after tuning the guys did well in tuning i mean the car is a beast i raced a c6 zo6 and kicked him from 60km untill maybe 240 km then slowed down the cam behave so tough and the car goes crazy at rpm 3500 and keeps going crazy .

and yeah im not gonna fit the torqe converter .

now my q. is im thinking of bying this cam

Lingenfelter LS1-GT11 Camshaft
215/231 .631/.644 w 1.7 rocker 118.0 CL

ok so i did read some threads here that says

a wider lsa = smooth idle
narrowar lsa= rough idle

so im thinking of a big cam with a smooth idle ex.115lsa or 116 or 117 lsa

so what do u think??? guys is this cam will do fine with my c6??? and will give me a beast hp power???

so guys im

What do you mean goes crazy at 3500rpm? Sounds to me like a tuning issue.
