Exclamation LS2 stroker cam sensor issue

Ok, car is still down. The tuner told me I had to take the car to a mechanic because he was losing the cam sensor and could not tune it until I got it fixed. The car was backfiring and popping a lot and a few times it would just die. I took it to a guy he recommended because the shop I had it at before was a nightmare. Well, he ordered a new cam sensor for it, put it in, cam code is still coming up. I know he has no idea what to do and is really beating around the bush with the car so I am trying to find out some stuff to pass on to him.
Any idea what could be causing the cam sensor code? Fixes?
Thanks!

You need to swap the outside two wires on the cam sensor wiring harness to match the LS2 cam sensor. Or buy a conversion wiring harness that does it automatically.

Yea, those two outer wires on the Katech extension harness are the usual culprit (A and C wires). Once you switch those and clear the codes, it should be all good to go!

Alright, I will give my mechanic a call here in a bit and see if that works. So, I just need to tell him that he needs to switch the a and c wires he should understand what that means...nothing complex about it at all? Thanks a lot guys, I'll update when I figure out what is going on.
