Default L92block/non l92heads?

My question is can I run an l92 motor without l92 heads? I was thinking of ls7 heads, or ETP, or some AFR's.

Yep. Now I'm not an expert, but AFAIK, any LS-series cyl. head should physically bolt up. It's possible to run anything from a 5.3 head to the baddest AFR casting. The intake ports are significantly different between L92-type heads & the traditional "LSx" heads, but as far as bolting to the block, AFAIK it's all the same.

Hell, you might even be able to bolt up a 4.8 head, but that wouldn't prove much (except maybe that the rabies shots you were given didn't work)...

Yes. Any Gen III or Gen IV head will bolt right on.
