Default HELP! need new motor

I blew up my car and now i need a new motor. I want something that is boost ready. I'm just looking for a short block. I dont really care on the displacement. It just has to handle 15psi of boost. I'm on a really tight budget and I have been looking at sdpc's 346 and a couple of local shops. I'm up in MN so I'm not in a big rush. I'm just wondering is there anywhere that i'm missing that has a good budget build? Thanks for the help.

Ya Tsp ,they have a 370 ci motor ,it is iron though ,for around 2800.00 dollars,i am sure it will handle your boost levels,Our 370 cid short-blocks include a new 6.0L cast-iron block, factory GM LS1 crankshaft, Scat H-beam 6.125" connecting rods with ARP 8740 rod bolts, and Diamond Racing flat-top pistons with -2cc valve reliefs. We can custom-build your 370 cid for you also using a Lunati, Eagle, or Callies forged crankshaft, as well as with Lunati, Callies, or Oliver connecting rods. Custom pistons are also available for heavy nitrous and boosted applications. Feel free to give us a call, and we will be more than happy to put an itemized estimate together for you! We also keep 370 cid short-blocks in stock, so give us a call for what we currently have available. If you purchase one of the engines in stock, it can ship out to you on the next business day! All of our engines ship via truck freight.

Def check out the sponsors as there are plenty of well-built and fairly inexpensive 346/347 shortblocks out there that can handle 15 psi. Also, as suggested above, you could look into a an iron 370 or larger CI engine. Should be able to get a nice forged shortblock with good parts for under 4K though.

Thanks a lot guys. I am leaning towards TSP's 408 right now. I will for sure contact them and see how much its going to be.
