Default What would you do next?

As of late I have reached what imo would be the limit (or very close to) of the stock LS1 internals. I'd like the car to hit the single digits eventually, but I want to run a setup where I can keep some of my current parts, most importantly the heads. Having the LSx is going to run around $2000 more than the LS2, with the advantage of being able to handle much higher power levels.

All of them are so different, with out some more back round info on you and what exactly you'd want for and how much you will spend.

Yeah, depends on what you want. I went so far as to buy about $1,800.00 worth of nitrous setup stuff for a 150 shot ... got it all on the car and didn't even finish it up ... ended up pulling it back off the car and selling it.

Was gonna' do a APS twin turbo setup and then decided on a 408 with a FA1 supercharger (after reading how much it costs for TT's after it's said-and-done). FA1 and more cubes wasn't any cheaper ... too much power for my setup. FINALLY, I decided to be a realist. I'd be better off with a D-1SC and keep the forged motor I already have and just enjoy a nice, fast street car. Gonna' S/C the thing (D-1SC), put an 8-rib kit on her and be done with it.

Will loose a little up top over a turbo, but, it'll be there all the time and I don't need top end power unless I'm trapping 120+ anyway. And I can always keep taking off weight to go a lil' faster ... witout having to worry about toomuch power breaking my 12-bolt and wearing out my FLT level IV tranny ... just my .02 and hope this helps ya'.
