Default new GMPP LS3 crate engines

I searched and didn't see this posted anywhere. Anyone have more info on this?

The LS3 Family – Three New Crate Engines

The LS engine family is expanding once again. This time, we have three powerful new engine offerings to enhance the choices for late-model performance enthusiasts, muscle car and street rod builders, and racers of all stripes.

The three new engines – the LS3 6.2L, LS376/480, and the LS376/520 – continue the LS tradition of breaking new ground for efficiency and performance from a pushrod platform engine.

The LS3 kicks out 430 horsepower and 424 lb.-ft. of torque. The LS 376/480 is an LS3 with an upgraded camshaft that ups power by a whopping 50 horsepower! The LS 376/520 is equipped with an aggressive camshaft and GM Performance Parts' exclusive carbureted intake manifold. That's two simple upgrades that add up to 520 horsepower – a 90 horsepower bump over the stock LS3.

Available in early 2008!

I don't think it's on the site yet. They aren't supposed to be out until next year. Curious as to what cam the LS 376/480 has and how much it costs.

That information is from the GM Performance Parts web site. The SEMA tab at the top is a page for the press release of info for the SEMA show.

The engines were again on display at the Performance Racing Industry trade show in Orlando last week.

I too am curious how much the hopped up LS3 will run. Any idea if VVT, DOD (AFM) or DI will be part of the package?

Cam specs? For the Hot motor?
Hope this link works: GMPP catalog page for the LS376/515, click on "tech specs" and looks like the cam is 226/236 @.050 with .525 lift.
Can you tell I'm interested in this engine? Hope it isn't overpriced when it hits the market.

Looks like it's the ASA cam. The 376/480 has the GM Hot Cam.

What would have been really nice for this engine:

GM CNC L92's 88958698
GM LS7 1.8 rocker arms 1259617
GM GAC cam 88958606 239/251 106 .603/.603 (1.8 rockers)

for $6k-$6.5K

With headers and 850CFM carb, conservative 570hp

Robin?
