not expecting cheap, but just something like $800-900 instead of $1500.

Take the latter # and multiply by 3 to 4 as Jesels are the only thing available right now!

1. K2A-2065416T J2K Corvette LS-7, 1.550 Pivot $2,025.00

2. The heads must have the rocker arm bolt bosses machined down, too.

3. Lifter PN's vary based on several factors, but they typically run around $3000 per set!

I was all excited about changing to LS7 heads and going to a solid roller, but that changed when I pulled prices for that. Lots of rumors about T&D, Crower, etc. coming out with something, but I have not seen anything firm. Take care. Dave

For solid or hydraulic? If solid, will they require head machining? Anyways, you'd have to add the expense of the lifters, too, if solid.

Thanks for the info RUQWIKR.

I was contemplating solid roller on my LS7 build but after reading your post, you've made my decision for me.

Three companies I have spoken with have said the same thing...coming shortly...been over a year now. You still have to pay for the solid lifters, too, and maybe cylinder head machining, which if it is the case, you'll need the heads off the car.

I keep wanting LS7 heads on the car and a switch to a solid roller, but, I may just go to the dark side and have my first bottle car ever. Take care. Dave

If anything I would call a couple places like T&D, Yella Terra, Crower, etc and ask them what a set of rockers set up for your application would cost. Maybe you could get in on helping them produce a set up and get a cost discount.

Anything equivalent or better than what Jesel offers is way more pricey...WAY more. Forget "cheaper"...or forget the SR.

Unfortunately it just costs money to go fast, and going with a company like jesel that has been producing these rocker arms for a few years now has really worked out the bugs, and that will save you time and headaches, value your time more and go with the proven product. good luck.

Im sure T&D does now, but just go with the jesels. I didn't the first time around and now I'm regretting it.

Has anyone debunked this? Are there any recipes out there for a beefy low lash solid roller cam that won't set you back $2-3000 just in lifters and and rockers?

I'm skeptical of the Harland Sharp rockers mentioned here.

Jesel/T&D/Crower, and if you don't want to spend the $$$ go hyd and keep it simple.
