Your compression and timing is what effects the amount of Octane you can safely run... as well as intake temps, quality of gas, and cam overlap.

With that kind of cranking compression you are on the edge.

I have a street car that is around 11.25:1... and in Texas heat if I where to mill that down to 11.8:1 I would start to worry about needing higher octane.

Also.... I thought in Kuwait 95 octane was the lowest you could purchase?

Sorry yes the lowest is 95 my mistake i ment run it on a 98 octane
