Default Where to buy quality 402/403 stroker kit/rotating assembly?

I'm balancing and budgeting a possible engine build up for my C5. I am looking more towards a 402ci engine. I like the quality of Compstar/Callies cranks, rods. I've looked through almost all the LS1tech sponsors and not seeing anyone thats offering stroker kits including things like (crank, rods, pistons, bearings, rings etc etc). Could someone please direct me to where I can price some items of putting in a LS2 block.
OR
Is it better to take the stock LS2 short block and make some kind of build with it? My head is just spinning at this point.

Looking for end result to be a streetable car with 500rwhp good torque #'s but not break the bank. I'm not looking for a $5000 engine. I will most likely have to put my Stage1 TSP PRC LS6 heads/Fast 90/90 ported on the short block for now till I can afford a better set of heads. I want a compression ratio no higher then 11.5:1 approx. Run on pump gas premium. Possibly put small 150shot of nitrous to it.

Thanks Deeavi.... They had exactly what I was interested in for $2449.00 for everything to go in a short block it seems.

The next question that would have to come to mind is how much does machine work typically cost to turn a LS2 short block into a 403 stroker and put this kit in??????

Scroggins-Dickey has a ad in this months magazines for 402/416ci rotating assymblies with manley pistons, compstar rods & crank, clevite bearings, and A&C Race Rings for $1800. LS2 block for $1000 and $L92 block for $1400. I too have wodered what the additional cost for machining and assymbly would come to.

If you are talking about the pipe on the rear drivers side that sticks up behind the intake. That is for the oil pressure sender.

PM Sent!

We can get you set up with a rotating assebly to meet and exceed what you are looking to do. We offer a full line of Callies bottom-end components including both Compstar and Dragonslayer product lines. We also offer Texas Speed exclusive pistons from Diamond Racing. These pistons are made from the 2618 forging to ensure they will take a great deal of abuse. Each rotating assembly comes with a Total Seal Ringset with a Napier second ring to help with oil control and Clevite bearings. We can also have the rotating assembly balance prior to shipping as well so you will just need to block work taken care of and assembly.

You might also take a look at our stroker short-blocks. We have over 40 on the shelf and ready to ship. The same top-of-the-line, name brand components are in every stroker we build. You won't find inferior parts in our motors to save a buck. Every motor is balanced and blueprinted as well!

PM or give me a call if you have any questions or concerns and we will get you fixed up right away.

Thanks!
Jon Reynolds
