i have seen 11.4
i am wondering what can be done with 93octane? What would you have to do to the ls6 head to achieve this?
how much HP and torque is uppin gthe compression good for?

I ran 12:1 but couldn't run much timing. I dropped it to 11.3 and added another 5 degrees of timing and picked up 30 RWHP.

yep. im at 11.2 SCR and 8.6ish DCR. DCR has a lot to do with knock also.

i would imagine knock is what limits you, hence the question how much compression can u run on pump gas? I guess i should have said what is the highest power output combination of timing and compression u can run on an NA LS2?

DCR is probably a better value to consider rather than SCR. Keep the DCR below 9.0 and you should be okay.

Don't forget by adding a simple water methanol injection system, we can dramatically raise the octane level of your pump gas allowing the use of higher compression when normally not achievable. Additionally, NA users may add a water methanol injection system to their combination for added safety to ensure they have more then enough octane and eliminating the chances of detonation all together.

i was thinking about using an injection system if i stay NA, and the dude i mentioned it to looked at me as if i was crazy. He insisted it is pointless on NA, and therefore not many places make NA based injection systems. I asked him if he ever thought about wearing a diaper on his head since he talked so much bullshit. He didnt like that.
