Thats sweet.
I saw the fuel cut off set at 5600rpm. I wonder if the ZR1 will also have that cut off. Seems kind of low.

the fuel cutoff, calibration, and camshaft profiles will be totally different than what the LS9 is, because of the application. its looking like the de-tuned version that this PDF represents is going to be a replacement for the vortec 8100 in some applications. 5600 does seem low when it makes max power and tq at only 200rpm less, it may be a typo.

Never though of that.
Cam and everything is basically different cause water is different than land. Must be set up for different things. Sweet engine theo!

yes, its very different. most hulls have alot of drag, ALL THE TIME. the engine is always working real hard to keep the boat moving.

Anyways, I thought it was pretty neat. this platform will blow the I/O market open, the supercharged engines are perfect for the kind of duty cycles in the marine environment.

Pretty cool, it looks to be almost identical to the new CTS-V motor, just revised for water use and 10 hp/tq less.
