FAST on a cam only setup?

no dyno but on my 238/242 113lsa cam only set up i picked up some peak tq but lost power under the curve where it counted. the car was real responsive but if i could do it again i wouldnt have done it unless i was going with a big breathing motor

I've always thought that it would be much better on a LS2 first due to slightly more displacement and also the fact that the stock LS2 manifold doesn't flow as well as the LS6. And the 243 heads will use the extra air more efficiently.
I'm sure a lot of it would have to do with the cam specs.
My stock LS6 responded very well to FAST 90, EWP, and a tune.
I don't have a baseline, but stock CTSVs dyno 330-340.
