XER281HR cam installed in my C6!! its too roughy
ok now as what i was tould from comp cams that this cam will not be too roughy !!!!
but its dam roughy the rpm range u can feel a huge diffrence from 2000rpm untill 6500 rpm .
some told me thats its all from the B&B cat back thats why ur cam is acting roughy .
check the video and listen to the cam is it normal??

first fo all it sounds awesome! just great in my view... but the tune has a lot to do with idle quality.. also how long have you driven it? it takes alittle time to "self learn" and you can only really judeg it after driving it about 100km...
if it still acts bad, then get a tuner who knows what he is doing..

I really think it just needs some better tuning. It shouldn't be too rough at all with a good tune

That's a pretty healthy cam. Specs are: XER lobe 232/234 .595/.598 112+2. According to Comp here are the characteristics; "mild-rough to rough idle. Race only." I had a similar cam in my heads/cam setup (232/232) and it loped pretty good. Raising the idle, adding a little airflow and increasing the timing will help, but it's still going to lope.
