Default Is it worth the money or should I go differently?

Hey guys, I'm looking to build a forced induction motor and I think I have found a perfect engine in a L92 or an LS7. I can get the L92 rotating assembly for around $3200. Should I be looking at something different? I mean with the remaining money I can put different valvetrain(camshaft)/forged internals/crankshaft in the vehicle and make tremendous power. I am looking to spend no more than $5k and I will do all the engine work. What do yall think?
