That is some serious porting!
I have a set ported, and mine also opened up the threaded hole for the intake rocker, but not that other hole. Is the other one the threaded hole for the exhaust rocker bolt?

Look good. Any flow numbers?

BTW: I'm not a big fan of going after the valve guides and bosses to that degree on a street motor.

Just my $.02

Who did the port work? I have an idea, but would like you to reply to see if I'm correct. They look nice.

Intake Exhaust (without pipe)
.200/162 126
.300/240 180
.400/302 218
.450/316 225
.500/340 236
.550/353 243
.600/361 250
.650/369 254
.700/377 257
.750/382 263
.800/388 268
.850/395
.900/399
.950/405
1.00/414

Intake Valve was a custom 2.150 valve and the exhaust was a custom 1.60.

This is what mine flowed on a 4.067 bore. My exhaust port flowed very well.

Chris Frank at RayMac in FtWorth, Tx did the port work. Could have gotten better numbers but we wanted more thickness for the springs im using.

Motor made 710 before it foated valves. T&D is fixing the problem and we expect another 25-30 out of it at least.

From the sounds of custom valves, springs I'm running, and T&D I'm guessing your running a solid roller setup. Can you give us some more details about the whole combo? Such as the engine setup, what intake you are running, etc.. Was that on a engine dyno? It sounds like you're one of the first people to put down what I consider impressive L92 numbers.

It's most certainly the first I've heard of. What sort of cubes and compression are you running? How large is the cam. There was a recent post on here about people having problems with T&D's new style of rockers. You might want to check it out.

Yeah, i have a few other threads on this motor. We had a hard time with the salesman as he would NOT let us talk to Larry Torrez (owner of T&D) We finally did and he said he would get us a new set with OUR measurements. The pushrod cup is in the wrong spot.

Motor is a 414 with 11.75:1 compression. I was going to put it in my 01 WS6 but have decided not to. Instead its going in a 2900 LB 92 Z28

Haha, that was your post about the messed up T&D rockers. I should have looked at that first. Did you replace the stock crank? Your other threads state you're using a 3.622 stroke.

Seeing numbers like those from a casting that costs 175.00 from GM makes me feel warm inside. I know what my next set of heads are going to be.

Careful. These heads are priced around the same as a set of AFRs after all the work they have had

I'll bet. I've never seen numbers anywhere close to that from an out of the box AFR head though.

Hate to bring this one back from the dead but I am willing to bet these heads dont flow that well,if they did, youd make a hell of alot more than 710 to the wheels.....

Anyone can fudge flow #'s and I am willing to pay shipping to and from a reputable head porter to show you they dont flow near 300cfm at .400
