Default Need help on assembly

I am finally assembling my 427 and for some reason I have a shim that was placed in the bag that contained my oil pump and timing set. This shim is .006" thick, has an OD of 1.941" and an ID of 1.488". I do not remember where this goes?? The parts were from my 2005 LS2 (pump and timing set). I am stuck and I have had no luck in any of my manuals or searching on here. Please help.

im assuming its a double roller timing chain...if so ,you should actually have two shims...they are to space the oil pump to clear the new, wider chain...

The chain is a factory LS2 single row, it is just one round shim
