can u put ls2 heads on a ls1 block just like the title says, cann u put ls2 heads on a ls1 block and does it make any power? I have a friend who hasa set for cheap. Thanks

does it make power and i heard the ls2 heads are the same as the ls6 heads but the ls6 heads have different valves and springs. Just wondering if i should pick these up and get them ported and polished by somone. thanks for any info guys

correct..if you want to save a little money,just have the seats blended,and get a good valve job.that alone will get you a sizeable increase in flow..the most gains from porting are from about an inch below the seats anyway..
