Default I Found Berrings in My Oil (PIC)

I did an oil change and found these two berrings attached to the drain plug magnet. Are they from the SLP rockerarms?

Take a better pic. use the macro function (usually a little flower icon) to zoom in close.

Could this cause engine failure if not fixed ASAP?

No but it can lead to a tore up rocker arm which will make your car sound and run like crap if you let it go for a long time. Replacing a rocker is extremely cheap and literally takes no more than 30 minutes to do.

Those little hard needles can find their way into some tight spots including oil pumps and they can lock 'em down. I've seen 'em get stuck between a piston skirt and the cylinder wall and just about ruin a block. Find the source and find any other missing needles before you fire it up again, IMHO.

Ok time to fix her. I'm glad I have a beater to drive during the repair. The timing couldn't be worse though...new wheels and great spring weather.
