Default "LS7 heads", World vs. GM vs. PRC

Which "LS7 heads" are the best? World Warhawks have extra bolt holes (to go with the extra bolt locations on their Warhawk block) but lets keep everything on the same "level" here. Say you had a big bore (4.125" +) GM block motor, which heads would do the best job? If it's not that simple, is one set better suited for one application than another? They all cost the same (about).

aftermarket casting will always have more features than a gm casting,
so i vote for aftermarket, and if using lsx bloack, then the 6 bolt versions

If you can afford the 6 bolt I'd go with those just because you can spray quite a bit more without working about lifting the heads

If you buy the 6-bolt Warhawk heads, you will need to buy the Warhawk block to use those extra bolt holes. They don't line up with the GM iron LSX block. The Warhawk block is pretty expensive for the average Joe and offers nothing in the way of extra power over the LSX iron.

your cant compare them, because it all depend on who is porting them...look at the LS6's that the School of Automotive Machinists have on their car...they flow 400+ cfm...so there is no better head just better porting. and as far as accessories bolt holes on then yes you go with an aftermarket casting

The heads that are currently on the SAM car are GM C5-R castings.

They are C5R heads with a BECK sheet metal intake and a 105mm TB. When they were using the LS6 heads they were flowing more like 360cfm at its highest lift. The LS6 heads before those were 10cfm less with very thin walls.

That makes more sense.
