Default Morels Hit Lsx Lifter Tray???

Just put the cam and lifters in my LSX and I noticed my lifters were coming up and bending the lifter tray when I approched max lift. Does this happen on the original style lifter holder and morels or is this happening just because the LSX has a different style lifter holder.

Morels are taller, how much lift are you running? If thats the case, you may need the link bar version.

Put a .100 thick washer under the lifter tray to jack it up and make sure it still has contact on the base circle.

I kinda figured I would have to shim them up. I am only running .36 lobe lift. might need a shade more than .1 though. We'll see.

Turn out I only needed a .070 washer. Everything OK now. Thank you.
