Default Higher lift beehive spring recomendation for L92's

What would be a good .600 lift beehive valvespring for a set of L92 heads? What would fit them?

With those valves i would only use a double spring with any kind of cam.

on our ls engines up to .630" we use psi 1511 beehives, but you will require moly pushrods.
cheers dave.

Those are excellent valve springs, I have used them on two motors and Katech ran a bunch of tests and selected those over all the others for their builds. The guys inside GM like them as well according to what I was told.

I will be running a .573 lift cam. Is a dual spring necessary? Why the moly pushrods?

PAC makes very good springs, go to SDparts.com. With your lift the PAC 1218 (good for .600) would work or go up to the 1518. Stock pushrods would be fine or get some hardened ones.

Stock LS7 springs are rated for .600 lift in the GMPP catalog

We use PSI 1511's for our engines when a single beehive is needed.

Another vote for 1551s. Have used them with L92 intake valves but even better with LS3 intakes which are considerably lighter.

What retainers and other associated components are people using with the PSI 1511s?

I would like to use the stock L92 valvetrain parts (e.g. keepers). So with a dual spring wouldnt I need to change those parts? I am wanting to build a 6.0 with L92's with a .573 lift cam. I will be under 7000rpms. Just wanting to know if I can get away with a good beehive? And which ones.

There is no reason to use a dual spring with what you propose. In fact a heavy dual spring setup will only unnesisarily stress the other valvetrain components.
The L92 intake valve weighs 108 vs 89 grams for the LS3 valve. They are cheap and interchangable so that is what we do, with no valve train control issues running up to 7,900 rpms.

There are Ti retainers for the PSIs but because the spring is so hard compared to the retainer the retainer does suffer some significant wear and lost material that goes some where ?? I have 4140 lightweight retainers made for the 1511s. They weigh 8.1 grams vs 5.5 for the Tis and should last forever. This combo works well on LS7 heads up to .650 due to difference in installed height on the LS7 head. Never had a failure-- and there are hundreds of race engines running this setup on LS1,2,3,6,and 7s. NASCAR Spec motors and others. Granted, fewer with the heavier stock L92 intake valves but I have run those on a previous 402 well beyond 7k on numerous track days.
