Fasterproms Ported C7 LT1 intake manifold results! Hey Guys just got back from the dyno tonight and have a bunch more stuff that needs to be done so sorry I dont have the dyno sheet with me but it will be up on our facebook late tonight or tomorrow. We re-baselined the M7 car with the new Z51 wheels and PS2s on there as the car didnt have them on it before. The weather was a little cooler then last time we were on the dyno just to be completely accurate, honest, and fair. 426/426 Dynojet SAE was the new baseline. We left the car strapped to the dyno pulled the manifold ported it right there and reinstalled it and heated it up. The car on the first pull the car was up 20RWTQ but as the manifold heat soaked and five more pulls later the gains were 10RWTQ and 10RWHP.
The maf curve was different and pulled deeper into the maf curve indicating it was pulling in more air. The first pull with the ported manifold was 11.5AFR from 12.6-7 on our baseline.
I honestly didnt think there was as much power in the manifold but upon futher inspection there are a bunch casting flashes where the manifold is friction welded together that obstructs and slows airflow.
I wanted to be very conservative on the gains of this as this should be very repeatable for anyone. I datalogged everything and the air was the same during the pulls. I would like to state that this was the FIRST manifold. We may be able to get a little more out of it with a slightly more aggressive port job. We will have cores very soon. We have a very decent amount of experience porting all sorts of manifolds over 1000+ LS2/3/7 manifolds and 65+ TVS EATON superchargers in the LSA and LS9. Do a search of our work and we look to help you out in the near future.

They have changed to a b/w printer for the dyno we were using. We are going to try to get the files on a flash soon.

Jeremy if u don't mind me asking what exactly was touched on the manifold? I'm guessing base of the runner about 2 to 3 inches into the runner n the throat behind the TB? Is the cross section smaller on the intake runner compared to the head any?? How many more Hz did it pull? Looking at the maf chart on the c7 I'm guessing factory pulls to about 9000 Hz

C7 on Dyno - Before and After 2014 C7 Z51 M7 Corvette
Before and after ported intake manifold by Fasterproms.net, removed intake cover, drilled larger hole in air box, and added heat partition for air box.
We noticed while tuning that the intake air temperatures were quite higher than ambient. On the first car that we had in October, we opened up part of the front grille to allow for a better source of colder, denser air. Also, the radiator blows hot air into the cavity of where the stock air box picks up, just like the CTS-V. We built a partition to separate the hot air from our induction, thus improving our air temps. We drilled two 1-5/8" into the air box and removed the cover plate on the intake manifold to shed heat. We were extremely pleased with the results. All dyno numbers are SAE corrected.
The car made 426 rwhp before mods and mild tune. The car made 445 rwhp after. We are currently awaiting headers, camshaft and supercharger.

Fasterproms C7s with very light mods run mid 11.6s @120 Just Took my car and another customer to the track last night both cars ran about the same ETs and Mph.
My arctic white M7 Z51 mods -Fasterproms Modified airbox, Fasterproms ported intake manifold and TB, Heat partition for airbox, Removed covers on intake manifold and weatherstrip,(Jeremy Formato or me
) Custom Dyno tune 445RWHP, Hoosier Drags on C5 Z06 wheels. Ran 11.69 @ 120.3 in around 1100' DA was over 1300 most of the night
JBs Yellow M7 NON Z51- SAME MODS except American racing headers, My custom Street tune, and MT Drags on replica C5 Z06 wheels. Ran 11.64 @ 120.1
I was struggling with launching and having wheel hop etc. Track was so so and DA wasnt too great but these are rather competitive especially given what has been done to the cars. Had I been able to execute the same 60' as JB I should have run an 11.4x and without headers!

Hey Guys,
We have been swamped here at Fasterproms with tuning all over the state of Florida and porting. It has been a while since we posted anything about our 2014 C7 Z51 M7 Corvette.
Earlier in the year, we added our Fasterproms ported intake manifold, removed the intake cover, drilled a larger hole in air box, and added a heat partition for the air box.
The car made 426 rwhp / 426 tq before the above mods and mild tune. The car made 443 rwhp / 443 tq after.
Today, we added headers, which brought us up to 454 rwhp / 460 tq, followed by E85 - which made 467 rwhp / 472 tq.
We are currently installing a camshaft and in the near future, a supercharger. We will keep you all posted on the results! :thumbs:
