Default Different PCMs, FBody Camaro 1996

Well, I've almost wrapped up a build that's taken me the better part of two years for some reason.

I'm right now in the process of bolting up the 4l60e and setting up the trans cooler (2600 stall TC) only thing is, I don't have a 1996 PCM flashed for A4. I have a 1995 Vett PCM which I believe is for an automatic.

So for the purposes of testing, will the 95 pcm control the motor and trans? I know the 95 doesn't work with OBDII, so I'm not sure if it'll function, or if it'll just fry the 95 PCM

The car is a bit of a mish-mash at this point. Running a completely rebuilt 1996 LT1, a 96 4l60e pulled from a chevy 1500, a 1997 z28 engine harness (the TPS sensor is a different plug on 97?) and I may be able to get my hands on a 96 A4 PCM soon.
