Well I haven't seen anyone here mention yet,if it has forgive me!!! I'm just excited that GM came back to this power plant. They really did a lot of homework to make this power plant unique and powerful with over 11:1cr. I no what my new power plant will be in a few years for my new project lol

WTH GM?! First you got gen 1 LT-1, then gen 2 LT1, now gen 5 LT1...that's not the least bit confusing at all

FWIW...I found a better more detailed article about it, I was about to post it but yall beat me:

I knew this was going to blow up here. I can see it now...

"Can I put LT1 heads and intake on my LT1?"

What the hell are they calling it the LT1 for. Good lord GM. Thanks for making the "Search" function that much more difficult.

One of the cutaways on one of the sites (dont remember which) shows one of our gen 2 LT1s, glorious opti and all, and labeled it as 2014 Corvette LT1 engine .

450hp and 26mpg sure is nice, just wonder how much of a PITA it will be to mod with all those fancy new parts .

According to the gmhtp Facebook, the ECM is all new and supposed to be very hard to crack. Looks like a badass platform though.
