Recently developed a misfire on # 6 cyl, after tearing engine down found intake lifter stuck in closed position. I replaced all lifters with LS7 lifters, tapped & plugged oil ports for afm in the valley & reassembled engine, had engine tuned & AFM disabled. Ran the engine & had a code for random misfire come active at idle. Yep I shoulda done more research before putting it back together. Can anyone recommend a good cam to install, this is a daily driver so nothing really radical, maybe just a little hotter than stock that I can use the same heads & pushrods with.

I haven't torn my 5.3 apart yet, but I'm just stabbing a stock LS2 cam I have laying around in there when I take all the AFM crap out.
