LS3's have VTEC?
I thought that it wasn't until the new LT1's came out in the C7 that GM's SB got VVT? Isn't VVT and DI the main benefits the new LT1 has on the LS3 to make it's powerband broader and more torquey in the lower RPM range?

Try GOOGLE. Its been done in the mags. Also try searching Youtube.

VVT has been around a while. At least 2008. A big benifit on GEN Vs are direct injection. All new engine design. More torque down low (2K) and more power . Try a SEARCH on LS1Tech, GOOGLE & Youtube
