Default Question about oil pumps

Straight to the subject, I bought a 07 Lumina SS = 07 commodore VE comes with the L98 "LS2". Done only 60000 km . Oil pressure was showing 95 KPA which is around 14.5 PSI warm idle. Decided to replace both oil pump and sensor. Got my self melling 10295 High pressure pump. Planning to keep the car as is completely stock for DD. Question is do I need to carry out the priming thing since the engine is not new nor freshly built ? Is it necessary to pour some oil into the pump it self to lube it for initial cranking? And which O-Ring shall I install on the pick up tube. (Red-Black-Green)?

Note about pressure: I checked using an OBD scanner and oil pressure was increase when I rev it up. Got 58 PSI on 5000 RPMs

Thanks a bunch

BUMP.

I replaced the oil pump and the oil sensor yet still getting same pressure. Any ideas?
The mechanic says you might have a problem in the center bearings!!!
