BMR Suspension Congratulates Dave Childress on his Holley LS Fest True Street Victory
BMR Suspension would like to congratulate Dave Childress (Mighty Mouse) on his Holley LS Fest True Street victory last weekend.
Dave was named LS Fest True Street champion with an average of 8.930 seconds for 3 passes with a best time of 8.812 seconds. This was accomplished with street legal drag radials in a full trim street car. Dave uses off-the-shelf suspension parts from BMR Suspension on his 1998 Trans Am.
David is one of the 200+ racers in BMR's 9-Second Club.
Great job Dave!!!

I'm in the 10 second club pushing for 9's within the month!
But congrats to Dave as I don't think he got enough coverage or recognition so far after winning. It's kinda like he told me afterwards, it's like no one wants or cares about True Street anymore or at least at this event. Seems everyone wants to run X275, RS, or ODR and I don't blame them who wouldn't want to strap in to a freaking rocket ship of a race car, but for dave to run just as fast if not faster than almost all the guys in real street with a 3750 car like Ray does, is just more impressive to me, and then to be able to drive home hundreds of miles afterwards....that's the kind of racing that intrigues me since it's the kind of ride I have also.
