Been to the last 2 events as a spectator.
Going to run this year.
Does anyone leave their car and trailers overnite in the pits?
I have an open trailer.
Or do you take them back to your hotel.
Is there any night security at the track?

Night security should be posted at the gates. I leave my stuff out but we stay in a camper at the track.

Probably safer at the track than at a hotel. There is security at the track but last year the guy at the gate was asleep when we drove by lol.

we get there friday morning and unload, generators, chairs, grill, canopy, fans. even leave the car out all weekend. never had a problem.

If I don't get off my *** and get this car ready, I want have to worry about leaving it overnite in the pits. Then I can stay drunk all weekend as usual.

Actually, let me go into some detail to give you feel for things.

The track is actually secured after the event is done for the day. You cannot bring cars, trailers, etc in and out after the track is secured.

Now at NMCA events, folks staying overnight can get wrist bands, like if you go out to eat.

Typically folks will lock up their stuff and it's all good.
