My opinion on the class is that people generally just want to see guys banging gears and running down the track. If you start to limit min weight, which Power adders, interior and such people aren't going to care about running it. If you make it where as long as the car is LS powered and has as manual transmission it can enter people might be more interested. With that being said it would be more entertaining and have a a larger car count if it was a bracket or index class. You could have people with daily driver 6speeds all the way to a full track only car to possibly any of the pro touring 6 speed cars in the class.

Oh and a purse would be nice. Even if it pays only $500 to the winner that's $500 that the winner didn't have when he teched in.

I think to make it work and put on a good show you should consider all options to have the highest car count possible. That's all. Thanks for your time guys.
Thanks for posting man.

I think to make it bracket or index might not work very well. Reason being is there will be two index classes to choose to run in. I think the people in charge of putting it together would see it like that and not be in favor for it. I like index cause u can level the playing field but it's not really a lot of fun to watch.

I think we all agree on the rules being pretty much open to anything that runs a 6 speed which might help or hurt car count lol. That's for the heads up rules.

Not sure what the best would be since we don't have a specific direction for the class other than for it to have 6 speed transmissions.

I hear that man, about how fast is ur car. Just askin cause if ur fast enough u might be good for heads up. If we can get them to let us run rumble or street king also then it would give all the 6 speed guys a chance to run two classes.

I agree with u on not wanting to run heads up if u think ur to slow but there is a lot of things that can give u a win over a faster car. Bad reaction time, red light, cross center line, spin at the start, miss a gear, not to mention braking something. This is all magnified with a stick shift car. I've seen it and done all but cross center line.

My car will be done in about a month or so. Id be interested in bringing it down for a six speed class, sounds like alot of fun. 99 Hoss, raceweight probably around 3400, 427 NA, should be a 10 second car. By the way ill give a shout out to Jeremy@rpm for helping me out with a few things I needed for my t56 and the customer service he gave my dad when they auto swapped his 2010 camaro.

I would enter especially if they needed extra cars to make it happen. I'm not competitive, as I plan to drive my car from Philly to BG, so I'm not looking to blow up anything in hopes of winning.

For the record, I'll be an LS motor, couple psi of boost, 19" R888's. LOL. I would do it just for fun and run a 11.0 @ 140mph.

Yeah, rolling on 19s, even with the Toyo R888s, it's not going to 60' well, so I figure the 3rd and 4th gear pull will be nice. Oh, and with the lack of a cage, I'm not looking to get tossed, so maybe I roll the beams, wait a second, then go at it.

I'd be glad to run if swap'd cars were allowed (RX7). Goal is high 9's. Was waiting on the weather for track time, now I am waiting on a baby!
