I haven't registered yet. Now that tax time has come and gone we dodged a bullet and didn't owe like I thought we were. I should be able to go, have the time off, just need to make sure I have the funds.
JRB56 and some others are going from Texas. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to long haul it so will need to figure out where I'm going to stay. In 1999 I ended up rooming with a guy and splitting the hotel costs, it worked out well. Not sure what I'll be doing this time, looking for available rooms somewhere! I plan to drive up in 2 days making a stop in Missouri about halfway making each day about 600 miles. If I were 20 years younger I'd do it in a day.
Got some 17" SS wheels for cheap with some new meats so looking forward to putting a couple of thousand miles on her.

I used to go on the Power Tour every year, for about 15 years or so, but kind of got burned out about 5 years ago because they always went to the same locations and cut the actual touring part by a significant amount. But this year my vacation plans got shot to ****, so I will be doing a couple of legs of the Tour. Plan on leaving KC early Sunday morning and driving to Champaign Il then to STL and then back home. I'll be driving my trusty rusty, so if you see it stop by and say hi!

I will be in my 2014 Chevy SS sedan - the built LS in my Corvette is being a pain - so its staying at home.
Look forward to seeing you out there!

U-234 I'll be driving through eastern OK on the 4th, get to Wisconsin on the 5th. Taking my 97 Z28.
Mentioned earlier getting burned out... in 99 I got burned out on car shows after going on the Power Tour. Didn't do any car shows for a decade. Got into motorcycles about 5 years ago and just picked up my first muscle car last September. I enjoy driving more than sitting in parking lots looking at cars though. During this trip I do plan on seeing some sights along the way instead of parking and walking/sitting at every stop.
