I'm already in and signed up, hotels booked, and vehicle ready. Running the Street Machine Eliminator class with my ol' turbo C10. It's not fast by Drag Week standards, especially due to the lack of a roll bar, but on only 10psi it cruises to an ~11.55 pass just about every time down the track. (I've ran an 11.48, 11.51, 11.51, 11.55, 11.54 on the same tune)
I was able to do DW in 2013, and had a blast. It's a privilege to participate again and I'm looking forward to checking out all the insane fast rides. It's gotta be the only place in the world an 8 second street car barely stand out from the crowd.
I'm in first year as well, all signed up and hotel'ed up. Gonna be in a Comet (still ford powered) in street machine eliminator, but I am planning on taking my turbo lm7 car next year, once it is sorted out.
Does anyone know how late the registration check -in is on Sunday?
When I participated in 2013, registration started early and finished up around 1 if I recall correctly. With 350 cars is may take a bit longer. I'd advise getting there as soon as you can, a lot of cool stuff to check out and a great atmosphere.
