Default Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour

For Immediate Release: NEWS AND NOTES!

The GM Performance Division presents the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour,
co-sponsored by Flowmaster has reached an important milestone, pre-registration
is now closed! This year’s tour is shaping up to be a smashing success.

Car owners may still register for the event, but they will have to do so at
Miller Park, Milwaukee, WI, on Friday, June 3, 2005. The registration fee will
be $65 and includes credentials for the vehicle, driver, co-pilot and admission
into “THE TOUR.”

The driving directions are getting a last minute update, the venues are all
prepared for the cars and the anticipation is beginning to escalate! The latest
update will be posted on www.hotrod.com!

THE STOPS!

Stop #1- Milwaukee, the Genuine American City, will be the kick-off point for
this year’s tour. Painless Performance will host the Kick-Off Cruise Night at
Miller, Park. All those long haulers MUST be at this stop in order to cash in
on all the great long hauler gifts and experiences.

Stop #2-The Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield, IL. After traveling “mile
after magnificent mile in Illinois, this Sunday stop will be a great launch
point for the rest of the tour! The Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau
promises smiles and great times for all car owners.

Stop #3-It is on to IRP! Indianapolis Raceway Park will provide a historic stop
for the tour, Banks Power will be the Cruise Night sponsor and how knows
“legends maybe made” at the home of the US Nationals!

Stop #4-Music City! A return to Nashville and the ******* Opryland Resort. The
“fun team” will provide a great Cruise Night in a great city! Edelbrock will
play host to the Nashville stop. For those “old hats” who have been long haulers
before, you know that Vic and the Edelbrock crew will provide good food and
great times!

Stop #5- It won’t be a dog show at this stop. Yep, the Hot Rod Power Tour
visits the Birmingham Race Course, which showcases dog racing! The Greater
Birmingham Convention and Visitors Bureau forecasts a great stop as rides roll
into the Deep South! Enjoy this “hump day” stop!

Stop #6-The North Florida Fairgrounds provide a great location to enter the
Sunshine State! For those first-timers in the long haul category, it is almost
“home” with only one stop remaining! The end is almost in site!

Stop #7-The much anticipated Super Chips Cruise Night Grand Finale in Kissimmee!
Before you even get this the final destination, you will all ready know the
friendly folks at the Kissimmee Convention and Visitors Bureau, because they
will have made the Long Haul! The Osceola Heritage Park will be a welcome
“home” for the long haul crew! Great gifts will await the car owner who travel
each mile of this tour.

LONG HAULER NOTES!

Long Hauler should like the “new” check in procedure put in place for this
year’s outing. It is relatively painless and should be a breeze. The long
hauler definition is simply, start in Milwaukee, drive to each and every stop,
end up in Kissimmee and leave your attitude at home! Follow those rules and you
will be in for the ride of a lifetime!

At every stop, make sure you stop by the Main Stage and check with Joe on what’s
new for the tour! Every night, Doc Riley will host the latest and greatest
give-a-ways from the Main Stage. The Hot Rod Magazine and Hot Rod TV crews will
keep you up to date on the highlights of each day’s activities.

Need Help?

At each venue, look for the red shirts of the Special Events team, they can
answer your questions or tell you where you can find the answers! Be patient and
enjoy the drive!

Mopar Muscle, Corvette Fever and High Performance Pontiac. Smile, Hot Rod TV

Thanks, I did not see this before. Been so busy I haven't had time to keep up-to-date on all the details of this year's Power Tour as much as last year.
