New Conversion/Hybrid from Canada
Hello all.
Been perusing the forums for some time now just decided to become a member.
My car is a 1997 Grand Prix SE (ant eater) that is receiving a TT 99 LS1 with a 700r4 transmission. I would have liked to use a 4L60E but they are hard to come by for a decent price and I already had the 700r4 anyway. Rear end will be 1997 Cougar XR7 rear disc IRS with factory "traction lock" diff. I hope that this will solve some of my tunnel issues by not having the live axle.
If anyone is from the Grand Prix community here, My car will have a full GT/GTP exterior with 2002 GTP dash/door panels/center console and 2007 GXP seats.
