Default Looking to buy a WS6

Hi, my name is Justin, i live in Des moines, IA. I currently have an 85 mustang GT for my toy, i am trying to sell it so i can get the car i have always wanted (an 01-02 WS6). I was recomended to the site by a friend of mine, lookin forward to learning alot more about the ls1 and these cars in general.

theres alot of really good deals on WS6s out there its just hard to find one in good shape that has'nt been heavily modded or dogged to death. It took me a really long time to find mine but I'm picky and wanted a stock car. I bought it in December last year from a dealership. Try looking in the for sale section on this forum, tons of cars for sale atleast last time I checked. Good luck

I've found the one i want, completly stock, excellent condition inside and out. The only thing keeping me from getting it is i have to sell my mustang first. Otherwise it would be sitting in my driveway tomorrow

You can't get a loan and then use the money from selling your car to pay on the loan if/when it sells?

No, i need a decent size down payment and i don't need another vehicle in the driveway.

That would be a good idea, then you would have it paid off alot faster.

Yeah, i HATE oweing money. And the less the bank has to finace the better chance i have of getting a loan. With my age my credit is pretty weak if i have any at all. Gonna have to have my parents' co-sign and they said i need to have atleast $4k to put down (no problem there once i sell my mustang and saturn).

Yeah, the mustang needs too many upgrades to compete with a stock f-body, so why not start with the better platform to mod. yeah, i have my silverado, the stang and a saturn sc. I've always wanted one but money was always the issue. But thats no longer a problem. I might go check into that. I want to get one soon!

haha, thanks Mike. I'm going to try that idea i told you about earlier. If they come back with that "magic number" then i will have one very soon. I'm going to go out there when it dries up later this week.
