Default Ls1 5.3 to generation 4 6.0 swap

I have a 2004 Z71 and am in the middle of swaping the motors. I've been told these two motors are not compatable. So far I have everything to make it run (like the cam and crank sensor adapter from Lingenfelter. I had a plate made for the old throttle body to work at WaterJet West. Just had a question about the Cam Phazer. If I don't hook it up will my cam just remain advanced where it should be?

What year is the 6.0, if the crank sensor is black its a 24x and gray is the 58x unless thats what the lingenfelter adapters for, the main thing is the crank, on the 99-01 i think the cranks stick out more and will only work w a 4l80e tranny. I don't know about the phaser.

It fits and runs but not much oil pressure. I belive the cam phazer is the problem.

It's a 2008 6.0 runs good and sounds wicked but need to figure out the oil pressure problem. The only thing I don't have hooked up is the cam phazer wires. I believe that has something to do with the low oil pressure.

Like socal said, check into lingenfelter. He had adapters already made up for this swap.
